How can I measure the decibels on my bike.I am interested in the spring trail ride.I have a 1980 Yamaha IT 425 with the spark arrester. It seems loud but I really dont know.I live in Hastings and would hate to get there and not pass the sound test. Thanks,Tom

If you haven't repacked your muffler recently, start with that. It's something that's relatively easy to do and generally makes quite a difference in the sound level. Any of the AMA district 23 events will be checking sound levels and might be a way to verify your motorcycle's exhaust system.
