I'm not sure how my parents scooped me on this news item. This is an email my parents forwarded to me this morning. Sounds like Motokazie is considering a motorcycle park off Hwy 19 near Northfield with a mototrack, trails and kids trails.

Hello friends of Motokazie,

I would like to share the latest updates of the past week.

We did have a positive public hearing and 2 very good stories written in the Northfield and Faribault paper. The feedback so far has been good.

That has changed a little - last night I went to a township meeting. Approximately 8 to 10 residents were there to speak against the idea. We can only prepare to educate and discuss our point of view the best we can. I am sure these people will show up at the next public hearing May 6th. Motokazie will also be holding a ‘neighborhood meeting’ April 21st , Forrest Township Hall, to have an official question and answer session with neighbors within a 6000’ radius of the proposed park. If anyone lives close to the property please let me know.

Both the Faribault Daily News and the Northfield News have written articles, editors opinions and created online polls. Please read the articles and post a positve comment online about motorsports. Please do not be rude to anyone that may have posted a negative comment, we want to keep our campaign positive. Also, please vote in the online news polls.
