There is no facility on our website for people to upload pictures. You would have to put them someplace like photobucket.com/ and then just provide a link to the them here.

JEB,
Thanks. I will see if I can upload a few of the better ones to a web based site. I think your team would really enjoy the photos.
Take care,

Looking forward to seeing them. I was invited to the CO500 last year but was just unable to take the time off to go at that particular date. So I'd like to see what I missed! _________________ John Brunsgaard |

I had to go help my parents move from Florida to Lousiana, so not much choice. It sure sounds like a fun ride, from the videos and pictures I've seen over the years. _________________ John Brunsgaard |

Colorado 500 pictures brought back great memories.
Starting in the early 70's and the last time in the late 90's. We made several trips to many of these same spots. From Taylor pass, in the early years, we could ride the mountain top all the way to Aspen ski mountain and down into Aspen. Aspen was pretty much a hippy or flower child hang out then. The Flag group photo looks like from atop American Flag Mountain. Black Bear was the scariest trail we were ever on, mighty big drop off the side of the trail and lots of rocks to watch out for. Other pictures looked familiar also, but then a lot of the trails were similar. We were on out own, not with the 500 group. The riding there was unforgetable. |

I agree Gary the Taylor Park area is ONE OF A KIND here in the U.S.!! Trails like the Lilly Pond, Star, Block and Tackle....and the VIEW from American Flag mtn....i've been there 3 times and would go back in a HEARTBEAT. The times we were there you could ride right into Aspen for fuel. Crested Butte and Tim Cup are both NEAT little towns also. |

Dont go into Crested Butte with a regular dirt bike with no plate. We were out there one time and got chewed out and booted out of town by the local marshall . He theatened to take us to jail because we had no plates ! He figured cause we had no plates we had no insurance and that was the reason we should go to jail . After some severe butt chewing and some apology`s on our part he told us to leave town and not come back . I`ll go back , just not into Crested Butte with out a plate .
If anybody has a chance to go ,GO , it will be the most extreme and spectacular riding you will ever do . |

I've been out there a number of times and the riding is fantastic. Some of the trails would have been a lot easier if a person would have been on a trials bike, because some of the trail switchbacks are very steep. Pearl Pass, Engineer Mtn, and Bear Pass are great. Bear Pass is scary in spots when there is snow melt running down the trail, very slippery. Some drop offs are a long way down. |
